Academics

Our Academic Goals:

• Reading Goal: Using the State Report Cards, All Students in Third Grade attending East Columbus Elementary School will increase 8 percentage points from SY2023-2024 to a target of 25.4 in Reading OST Proficiency by 6/30/2028.
• Math Goal: Using State Report Card, All Students in Fifth Grade attending East Columbus Elementary School will increase 8 percentage points to a target of 16.8% in Math OST Proficiency by 06/30/2028.
• State Assessment Gains: East Columbus students demonstrated growth on OST in both reading and math, with increased proficiency levels compared to the previous year.
• Language Growth: 45% of EL students met their OELPA gap-closing targets; 11 students fully exited ESL services.

3- Proficient: Consistently MEETS required level of performance

2- Basic: PROGRESSING TOWARD required level of performance

1- Below Basic: Consistently WORKING BELOW required level of performance
